E-learning course on project cycle management for migration and development practitioners
The European Commission-United Nations Joint Migration and Development Initiative (JMDI) is currently funding 55 small-scale projects being implemented by 138 organisations based in 29 countries (both developed and developing). These organisations include universities, NGOs, diaspora groups and local authorities. In order to support these groups, develop their capacity to implement projects and ensure the successful implementation of the JMDI-funded projects, an online e-Learning tool on project implementation is being developed.
The e-learning tool provides guidance on project implementation (from inception to reporting) and knowledge sharing for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Local Authorities in order to support them in implementing Migration and Development-related projects. The tool will be publically accessible online to all visitors to the JMDI website and will also be available as a CD-Rom for workshops and for those with limited internet connectivity.
Project duration: 2010
Funded by: European Commission
Project coordinator: Ralph Genetzke (ICMPD Brussels)
