Personal data protection

ICMPD is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We collect and process only the information necessary to carry out our activities, such as project implementation, fulfilling contractual obligations, or handling enquiries, and we use it solely for the purpose for which it was collected or to meet legal requirements. We may store general contact information (for example, names, addresses, emails, telephone numbers) as well as any additional data you choose to provide. Only authorised staff and contractors, all bound by GDPR obligations, have access to this data.

We ensure data is accurate by promptly correcting or deleting information that is no longer needed. Our technical and organisational safeguards, which include secure networks, access controls, and regular staff training, protect against unauthorised access or misuse. We do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

Under GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, to request deletion if the data is no longer needed or if its processing is unlawful, to request restrictions on data processing, to request a copy of your data in a commonly used format, and to object to certain forms of data processing.
