Education: Nina holds a master’s degree in Political Science and a BA in Journalism and Communication Science, both from the University of Vienna.
Relevant experience and expertise: From 2012 to 2016 Nina was a Project Assistant at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna. When joining ICMPD in 2016, she started in the Anti-Trafficking Programme working on various migration projects in Turkey. During her studies she conducted research on the following topics: the phenomenon of new wars, conflict and peace studies, International Politics, the Balkans, the EU, International Organizations, terrorism in the media and global migration studies.
Research interests: Trafficking in Human Beings, Labour Exploitation, Involuntary Migration, Integration, Migration and Development.
