Madalina studied Political Science at National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest, Romania. In 2007 she received a fellowship from the Central European University (CEU) Budapest to pursue a Master in Gender Studies. In 2008 she attended a Postgraduate program on Interdisciplinary in Gender Studies at Radboud University from Nijmegen, Netherlands.
Relevant experience and expertise:
During her studies she worked in the non-governmental sphere in education and European integration related projects. She also pursued research on common pool resources, with a focus on legislation and self governance in the context of European integration. Since 2008 she works at ICMPD where she has been first working in a project on the assessment of the extent of Trafficking in Human Beings in EU.
